We warmly welcome you to our web site whether you are a member of our Kirk or are visiting our site from afar.
Re-opening our premises – initial steps
We are able to hold funeral services and weddings in the church. The current Scottish Government rules include a maximum of 20 participants, all must wear face coverings and there is no singing. A record of attendance is also kept for the purposes of the Scottish Government’s Test and Protect protocols. We’ve also removed the pew cushions as disinfecting them isn’t easy.
We will reopen in-person worship in our sanctuary from Sunday, 1st November 2020, subject to Scottish Government and Church of Scotland guidelines. Details will be included in a pastoral letter that is being distributed this next week. We will operate a booking system for those wishing to attend as attendance is limited by Covid-19 restrictions. You can book your seat by calling our Church Secretary, Jane McIntosh, on 01224 791688 on Tuesdays or Wednesdays between 5:30pm-730pm. Worship in the building will take place at 10am. Our Zoom worship services will start at 11am from November.
For the time being all other group activities in our church buildings remain suspended.
In the meantime, you can still engage with us here, on our Facebook page and via email. We’d love to stay in touch with you. You can contact our Minister, Neil Meyer (01467 632219, email Neil) or Pastoral Team Leader Meta Chalmers (07814 039586, email Meta) for any pastoral care or prayer requests. Contact our Church Secretary, Jane McIntosh (01224 791688, email Jane) for any other matters.
